Fritz Felgentreu

Fritz Felgentreu, born in 1968, was a member of the German Bundestag from 2013 to 2021.

With degrees in Classical scholarship and Russian studies from the Free University of Berlin, he served in the defense committee as rapporteur on the former Soviet sphere and as spokesman for defense in the SPD group, advocating a stronger commitment to deterrence vis-a-vis Russian expansionism and support of a European perspective for Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.
